Earlene Dent Hughes is one of the greatest African American Sculptors of the 22nd Century. In the 1980's her work included a bust of Muhammad Ali in his prime years, a bust of Charles B Dent Jr., a Veteran of the United States Army and, in Englewood Square, Chicago, IL she designed the facial profile plaque for residential structures.
